This Institute provides support/services for to the benefit of prospective and existing entrepreneurs at the state level for promotion and development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. 23 districts of Maharashtra are under the jurisdiction of this Institute and its Branch Development Institute at Aurangabad. MSMEDI Mumbai also coordinates with all concerned departments, Associations and Industries for effective implementation of programmes & policies of Office of Development Commissioner (MSME) New Delhi.
